On April 2nd, 1999 the fight for the future began. 11 years and two lesser sequels later, The Matrix seems all but forgotten. But since I was only ten when the first movie came out, the trilogy significantly influenced my adolescence. After watching it again about a month ago and putting the soundtrack on repeat for the better part of three days, I feel like I'm back in the good old days of Matrix dominance, when the green code and bullet time effect got ripped off in every other movie and wearing shades and long coats was not emo, but ultra cool. Yeah, i admit, The matrix was my first psychology class i had.. i was 12 though.. hehe.. its true though how much hollywood just gobbled that movie up! There's not one action movie out there that hasn't been influenced by the creativity of the Wachowski brothers... it was simply just amazing when i heard that a sequel came out.. NOT SURPRISING, i knew just by the way the first movie ended, neos adventure had just begun and could carry on..
anyways, till this very day, The Matrix is my most prized favorite movie to watch... lovin' the art help alot too! XDD
